WSZF Pet Parade
Did we decide on ‘Paw’ or ‘Shake’? Train up Wishbone, Fitz or Woodstock and get ready to kick off the festival with the 2024 WSZF Pet Parade!
WHEN?
9:30am | Saturday, August 10th | Day-of Festival
WHERE?
Parade starts between Berkshire Bank & Amici, travels down Depot Street and then back for Awards Ceremony.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
9:30am | All pets & owners register & check-in with Pet Parade Coordinators at tent located between Berkshire Bank and Amici.
10am | Pet Parade marches down Depot St.
10:45am | Awards Ceremony back near Berkshire Bank.
Local prizes & gift certificates for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and more!
All species welcome and zucchini costumes very highly encouraged. Well-behaved pets & owners only.
PRE-REGISTER NOW!
You can register day-of the festival or pre-register now by emailing wszucchinifest@gmail.com with the subject: "2024 Pet Parade”. Please provide your full name, phone number and your pet’s name, breed and any special talents.
Zucchini Weigh-Off Contest
Rome wasn’t grown in a day! So roam into the garden and find that laurel-worthy Zuke to enter in the WSZF Zucchini Weigh-Off Contest!

Weigh-Off Contest Tent across from the WS Post Office.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Home-grown zucchinis of all shapes and sizes welcome!
11am to 3pm | Drop off your zucchini submission with your name and phone number at the Weigh-Off Contest Tent.
3:30pm | Official Weighing & Awards Ceremony at the Weigh-Off Contest Tent.
CASH PRIZE for 1st Place! Local prizes & gift certificates for 2nd and 3rd!
Zucchini Baking Contest
Quit trying to trick the NYT Cooking paywall and start concocting your own original Zucchini Cuisini for the WSZF Zucchini Baking Contest!

WHERE?
Baking Contest Tent at the corner of Depot St. & Center St.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Gluten-free, glutenous or gluttonous, Sweet or Savory—so long as it’s got zucchini, all baked edibles are welcome!
10am to 11:30am | Enter your baked good and recipe at the Baking Contest Tent. Recipe submissions must be written clearly or typed and must include your name, address, and phone number.
12pm | Official judging & Awards Ceremony at the Baking Contest Tent.
